Admission Overview

Thank you for your interest in Hsinchu County American School!

Hsinchu County American School (HCAS) was established in 2016 and offers curriculum for grade K to 12. Located approximately 10 mins of walking distance from the High Speed Rail (HSR) of Hsinchu Station, HCAS offers academic curriculum tailored to each student’s needs, interests, and abilities.

HCAS academic curriculum focuses on project based assessment and hands-on learning with two semesters in one academic year. It is our hope that our students find their passion to pursue successful admission to their higher education institutions all around the world. There is no better preparation for the future than an inspiring education that connects you directly to the opportunities you desire.

Student applications are now being accepted at HCAS. Since the applications are processed in the order that they are received, parents are encouraged to submit their applications early. Admissions decisions will be made in a timely manner based upon the assessment results, returning student re-enrollment, and space availability. Members of the Committee for admission are led by the Head of School, and the applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. In considering the admission criteria, we look for the ‘best fit’ model.  Majority of our students are Taiwanese dual citizens and smaller but thriving international community.

Hsinchu County American School (HCAS) admits students of any gender, race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation or any other legally protected status in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school administered programs.

Please feel free to browse our school website to find out more about our community.  Look for the dates for our information session and school tour events.
